Katie opposes plans for private development of our parks and is committed to protecting our parks as public spaces with amenities for our entire community to enjoy. With her background in consumer insights, Katie will make sure community voices are heard and respected as she works to strengthen partnerships that protect our parks.

Katie believes development should put the needs of our community first. But something isn't working today. Our commercial districts are struggling to attract and retain businesses. Residents who want to raise their families here or age in place are being squeezed out. Katie sees the upcoming renewal of the Anderson Comprehensive Plan as an opportunity to hit the reset button, supporting development priorities where our community can thrive.

Katie will fight wasteful spending, promote transparency, and make sure our budget reflects community priorities. Katie will push for responsible use of all tax dollars- including tax increment financing (TIF) funds- and ensure that long-term financial decisions strengthen our township without burdening future generations.
